A little history of Farrow & Ball
Back in the 1900s, two friends John Farrow & Richard Ball shared a passion for making rich colours in an original formulation using only the finest ingredients. They came up with the name using their surnames and started the world-known company it is today. As each year went by they added lots of inspiring colours to their colour chart that went with the era of time.
In this blog, we will talk about some of the colours from the white palette in more detail and show you some examples of these colours hand-painted in our projects.
All White
All White from Farrow & Ball is exactly what it says – a soft, totally pure white. It contains no other pigment except for white which creates the softest more sympathetic colour with the colder blue undertones of a brilliant white. It pairs seamlessly with Skimming Stone and Strong White and is one of F&B’s architectural neutrals, perfectly creating a warm scheme with a slight edge. If you want more of an almost graphic finish, contrast this colour with fresh, strong tones like Pitch Black.
