Project Description
Introducing this three room project we designed and completed in Hertfordshire, with us talking about the hub of the home first.
The kitchen is located at the back of the home with views of the pretty garden, a perfect-sized room to fill with everything on our client’s wishlist. The double galley layout works wonders with the island in the middle zoning the areas and is perfect for seating three guests. Our famous In-Frame shaker was chosen in a two-tone combination of White Washed Oak and hand-painted with F&B’s All White, perfectly portioned out, creating a fresh and gorgeous design.
We love pairing our bespoke solid oak cabinets with the metallics of the tap and handles with the black gloss of the appliances peeping through. Our client also chose a stunning quartz – Calacatta Gold. A white design with a bold vein flowing through and hints of gold add to the luxurious appearance this kitchen gives.
Moving on to the large dresser unit. Designed with the White Washed Oak and completed with integrated lighting, frosted glazed panels and 2 under counter fridges below, it soon becomes a drinks cabinet and one of our favourite features.
Another feature we love is how the Chimney breast houses push-to-open spice cupboards on either side. Check out the video on our Instagram @planetfurnitureltd where you will see this in action.
A cute little breakfast station sits round the corner in its own little place with a built-in microwave, sink area, a prepping space and plenty of storage.
The second room is the ultimate dressing room that fulfilled our client’s dreams flowing from the main bedroom, with a glamorous space to get ready and enjoy a glass of bubbly with friends. It includes an island with drawers connected to a dressing table, tall open-shelving for bag/accessory storage, glazed cabinets to store items like wine glasses and tall wardrobes with multiple rails for hanging and shelving storage.
The final room is the Bar in the Barn designed by Ruth Gray and sits at the side of the main house. It was fully renovated by the client and many of the old existing features remain. Our Lay-On Flat Door style completed the cabinets met with ‘Falling leaves’ slate panels illuminated with light boxes built behind. The outer bar panels are made to include a Brass metal trim and the back wall is seen with a Black steel framework with oak veneer shelves. LED lighting is built within the framework to illuminate. You can imagine this space getting plenty of use… PARTY CENTRAL!
