Fresh & Elegant In-Frame Cockbead Shaker

Working in this lovely home in Letchworth which recently underwent a beautiful renovation, we see our stunning In-Frame shaker cabinets take centre stage. The brief was to create and build a modern and refreshed kitchen that would be the main attraction of the home as well as the place where the whole family could come together and create memories to last a lifetime.

Each of the cabinets was hand-painted in All-White by Farrow & Ball – a white that contains no other pigment, creating the softest most sympathetic colour. This was matched with white appliances and wooden elements throughout the design.

Convenient storage was a key factor for our client so our lovely designer Alina worked with our clients to produce a single galley layout where two furniture blocks were found in other parts of the room, creating a breakfast station that wraps around a wall to provide our client with extra storage and a drinks dresser working with a cute window seat and the dining room table. The main kitchen run was just made with base cabinets and a beautiful bespoke mantle with large supporting corbels – wooden open shelves were added to this part too. The other furniture found in the open-plan space is floor-to-ceiling.

A breakfast station can encompass your entire morning – including a coffee machine, toaster and microwave. This particular one was designed with bi-fold doors to help the mornings flow for the family and to also become part of that magnificent kitchen without taking up too much space – a true most sought-after feature.

Separated by a sleek glass door we find the drinks dresser on the other side. This beautiful feature is framed with scalloped wine racks made from solid wood. There is so much detailing from the moment you open up the doors to the hanging section of the wine glasses and the antiqued mirrored backing.

Taking our focus to the range cooker, this is the Rangemaster Elise in white with brushed chrome. The aesthetic appeal of the Elise is ideal for home cooks and novice chefs alike, perfect for our client’s love for cooking. To complete this section the Cimstone Calacatta Nuvo quartz works its way up the wall to create a beautiful and functional splashback.

Finishing off the home with our furniture is the walk-in pantry. A simple design that features our Lay-On shaker with open shelving supported by sturdy corbels. A well and truly organised space that keeps items hidden from the mainstream kitchen, keeping that the place to entertain.
