Planet Furniture HQ was turned into a pretty Christmas scene on Friday 17th November 2023, it was the perfect excuse to get into the Christmas spirit. We welcomed and celebrated with new and existing clients, our very own team and partners from a range of suppliers. Bubbles flowed and canapes were cooked and served by Miele Chef, Jack Williams.
A Food Professional Collaborating with Miele
When planning this event we wanted to make the evening an unforgettable experience by cooking in our Miele appliances, a high-quality brand with innovative design and called on Jack Williams to help.
Jack Williams, is a London-based freelance food professional who has been passionate about food from an early age. Jack always knew he wanted to work in the industry, and began his career shortly after graduating college as a chef. He has worked in the TV industry for many years working alongside the country’s most loved celebrity chefs and even had stints on Australian Masterchef and a judge on a pilot cooking show called Feast Fight.
With his passion for food and dedication to his work, he has lots of experience with creative agencies, advertising, Television production companies, kitchen appliances manufacturers, and demonstrating for high-end kitchen brands including Miele.
We are so lucky to have struck up a great working relationship with Jack and be able to invite him down to serve delicious food at our showroom launch party. We are looking forward to booking him in the diary again soon!
Canapes for the evening consisted of the following:
Dates wrapped in Bacon
Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Pigs in Blankets
Pickled Mustard Seeds with Trout and Creme Fraiche Toasts
Parmesan Pastry Beetroot Tarts
Turkey Satay Skewers
Smoked Cod Mornay Risotto with Parma Ham Crumb
Chocolate Quiche with Orange Creme Fraiche
And of course, there was a grazing table!
Jack had a vision and went along the lines of a Christmas feast. It was perfectly suited for our November event!
Cooking in the perfect match to your kitchen, Miele
For this particular event, we used our fully functional Miele appliances and invited Miele Chef, Jack Williams along to demonstrate live and provide our guests with delicious food, cooked from a Miele oven.

The Miele appliances in our showroom consist of a single oven, steam and combination oven and a warming drawer all designed in a bank within our beautiful bespoke cabinetry. In the future, we will be demonstrating our fully-functioning Sub-Zero Wolf appliances, which will be very exciting.
