Utilities, Boot Rooms & Bootilities by Planet
The utility room is usually known as the engine of the home which is used for the laundry, storing cleaning supplies and dedicated areas for large, bulky white appliances. A boot room is used solely for taking off shoes and coats before entering the home or putting them on and getting ready for a lovely Autumn walk. Combine the two and get a Bootility!
Take a look below at some of the designs our team @ Planet Furniture have created throughout the UK.
We completed this traditional style home in Ashwell with a gorgeous bootility that flowed from the main kitchen divided by a stable door. Spacious in size, filled with bespoke cabinets in our Lay-On Shaker and hand-painted in Treron – a grey-green hue. The look was complete with burnished/satin brass fixtures, fittings, and a pretty pink tile.
A separate utility and boot room is found in this beautiful home in our home town Hitchin. Designed to flow gracefully from the main kitchen, this closed-off room is perfect to complete daily chores away from the hustle and bustle.
Bedroom/Dressing Room Furniture by Planet
Located in the eaves of this home in the top-floor bedroom, we designed a comfortable dressing table area with a gorgeous mirror and lighting and a bespoke shaker wardrobe, flowing altogether. Oak dovetailed drawers and storage shelves make this a luxurious storage space for clothes and accessories. Sit at the dressing table and get ready for your night out!
Bespoke bedroom storage completes this glitz and glamour room for a lovely young lady. The bedroom furniture is porcelain coloured with leather panels that add a touch of luxury and sophistication. The inset bevelled mirrors and Swarovski crystal handles keep it young and glamorous. Clutter is kept to a minimum thanks to the clever storage.
Home Office by Planet
A bespoke study is seen here built almost entirely from natural walnut. To get the instant “wow factor”, the cabinetry has been completed with antique mirrors and inset with chrome.
Walk-In Wine Rooms by Planet
The walk-in wine room at Gosmore is completely bespoke to accommodate various sizes of wine bottles. Stored at the right temperature and easily accessible – what a great use of an under-stairs space.
You want to do those dinner parties in style so why not create one of the BEST set-ups ever in your home? @capleuk says “Still makes us jealous”. @caesarstone_uk says “What a beautiful wine room and definitely not something you see very often”! A whole room that’s dedicated just for each type of wine, with added wine coolers for the finest white wines and champagne. This perfect elegant addition to the home was part of the Hitchin project.
Bars & Drinks Cabinets by Planet
Our trademark In-Frame Shaker style completes this indoor bar. Located in a games room built amongst property, the fun days can still happen come rain or shine. Prepare and serve cocktails to your guests and store the ingredients in a wine fridge.
No need to go out when you have an impressive drinks cabinet like this one! Invite all your friends and family to the party central any day of the week. We designed and built this one with our Lay-On Shaker, featuring an antiqued mirror backdrop, soft close dovetailed drawers, a Caple Premium wine cooler and matching quartz from the kitchen.
A combination of a bespoke drinks cabinet and media unit fitting snug in the living area of the open-plan space. It looks timeless and beautiful when open or closed.
This doesn’t need an introduction, this drinks cabinet speaks for itself. Built amongst a row of cabinets with handsome doors you will also find a breakfast pantry too. This well-designed and thought-out handmade bar is a stunning feature to this modern home.
Media Storage by Planet
This was specially designed for the living room for this project in Hertfordshire. This handmade furniture is set within the walls of the room providing open shelves for books, consoles and ornaments. The TV is hidden behind bi-fold doors.
Built-in Shelving by Planet
Let us design our bespoke wooden furniture into the walls of your room, making a beautiful bookcase or ornament shelving unit.
What a perfect way to show off your book collection. Make a frame around the door, organise them to make a colour scheme or by putting them in their collections. The ideal way to add character to your dining room.
Add a stylish and fun addition to the open-plan space with a shelving unit perfect for storing books, your favourite and precious ornaments and special photos. This shelving unit is specifically designed for the living room of this Welwyn Garden City project, continuing the colours and finishes from the kitchen. We even completed a drinks cabinet amongst it too!
