Project Description
Brand new to our portfolio is this kitchen project in a little village named Haynes in Bedfordshire. Fields upon fields surround this luxury traditional property, the views are incredible and we are here for it! Just behind the kitchen, an indoor swimming pool is being built and the garden features a lake! Each window frames a stunning view. This property was turned into a forever family home with a classic country-style kitchen at its heart.
The traditional style meets contemporary features such as the open-plan living space, the multi-functional island and state-of-the-art appliances. The appliances include a Miele microwave oven and a Miele fridge/freezer, built in their own housing. The Lacanche Citeaux range cooker in black sits in its own place with a moulded mantle built around that surrounds the chimney breast. The island, however, offers seating for two and becomes the main prep space.
Our client had a vision and we made it a reality with the coffee station and dresser area. This beautiful unit features plate racking, glazed door fronts, an open shelf and a matching quartz splashback – CRL Calacatta Dorado Quartz. Around the corner from this is where a pair of floating shelves sit complete with Armac Martin wine glass holders in burnished brass.
As part of the main kitchen run a double-door pantry is found with internal drawers and oak door racks for spices, herbs and condiments. We love the little unit next to it, a glass-fronted door and our client’s favourite pieces displayed.
All cabinets are hand-painted in Brunswick Green by Little Greene. This is a smart and confident shade that is the perfect choice for this home in the country. It works well with the wooden and brass accents too.
This kitchen also offers two sink areas, both including Shaws sinks and Perrin & Rowe taps.
