Project Description
Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Digswell we find our brand new Lay-On shaker project in this large open family space – a bright and fresh space that will work with all seasons. With a huge extension built on the back, it was the perfect place for the hub of the home, just look at those views!
The layout consists of an L-shape with a central island ideal for 6 guests seated and ample space for prepping and storage. To match the tones of the Lacanche Macon Range Cooker in Light Olive our client opted for the island to be hand-painted in Boringdon Green by Little Greene – a serene, muted green with calming features that look crisp against white woodwork.
Taking our attention to the other features found within this large space is the mixture of materials, ranging from the satin chrome Armac Martin handles to the solid oak bar stools. The white quartz worktop is functional yet beautiful and provides the most stunning contrast to the design elements found in every corner.
There are lots of storage solutions found amongst the kitchen cabinets like a floor-to-ceiling day pantry, complete with adequate shelves and space to home every kitchen essential you can possibly think of.
Lastly, flowing seamlessly into an adjacent room our Lay-On shaker continues creating a lovely utility. Complete the chores in peace with a selection of cabinets that house all your essentials from detergents to the ironing board!
