Our beautiful concept in the Planet Furniture showroom features a sociable banquette island, designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can gather for pre-dinner drinks or enjoy relaxed family meals. Having such thoughtful zoning ensures a seamless flow between cooking, dining and entertaining. We designed it so the host can complete dinner preparations on the working side of the kitchen. Serve drinks from the Kaelo wine cooler, Sub-Zero Refrigerator Drawers, and the drinks cabinet just behind.
The banquette seating offers a comfortable space to sit back and unwind. Upholstered to complement the style of the kitchen, you can enjoy music or watch television in good company from the media unit designed in front. We won’t forget to mention the storage drawer underneath!
Offley Banquette Island Project
In Offley, Hertfordshire, we added a banquette to our client’s kitchen island. It’s a true example of how bespoke design can transform a space into something truly personal. The curved banquette becomes an elegant focal point which combines comfort with craftsmanship and visual impact. It’s where people naturally navigate towards for family meals, morning coffee catch-ups and casual evenings with friends and a glass of wine. And when your kitchen is tailor-made, a standard table simply won’t do!
We positioned it to overlook the bespoke media unit, making way for a cosy nook for quiet moments too! The addition of Sub-Zero Refrigerator Drawers delivers easy access to chilled drinks, turning this space into an elegant entertaining area, and is inspired by our showroom project.
