A little history on Sub-Zero Wolf
Founded in 1926 by Westye F. Bakke, when he moved to Madison, Wisconsin with his wife Mary and their two children to start a new life. In the basement of his home would be the start of Sub-Zero Wolf. Westye first built a freestanding freezer from salvaged scrap metal, and this is when this invention kick-started a series of pioneering creations and triggered the birth of the Sub-Zero Freezer Company.
In 1955, Sub-Zero introduced dual refrigeration, ensuring fridge and freezer foods are safely preserved in separate, sealed systems. A few years later they were built to match the décor and cabinetry of the individual kitchen.
Throughout the generations, third-generation family member, Jim Bakke continued the company’s legacy throughout the ’80s and ’90s, adding electric controls and wine coolers to the Sub-Zero portfolio. The new millennium marked an exciting new chapter for Sub-Zero and they added Wolf Gourmet – a leader in commercial cooking appliances since 1933.
NASA Technology was introduced in 2008 bringing an antimicrobial air purification system to Sub-Zero fridges.

When it came to designing our new kitchen showroom, we knew it needed something extra special. We were so excited to get our hands on this Wolf Range Cooker. Designed with the iconic red knobs, this robust stainless steel appliance is ideal for both traditional and contemporary kitchens and sits in our main showroom area where our In-Frame shaker lies. Sit back and wait for a perfectly prepared dish in one of our kitchen designs!

Sub-Zero Refrigerator Drawers
The Sub-Zero Refrigerator Drawers bring convenient refrigeration to any room in your home. With a 762mm width, this model can hold 108L of food, keeping it fresher for longer with smart-touch technology that lets you control temperatures from 1°C to 7°C. Organisation has never been so easy, with adjustable (and removable) dividers that allow you to separate fresh foods, beverages, snacks and more, while LED lighting offers controllable degrees of brightness.
Each drawer is designed from a robust stainless-steel fascia panel and the choice of a tubular or pro-style handle. You can also opt for custom panels to match the surrounding furniture and that is exactly what we have done in our brand-new Hitchin showroom. You will find these high-quality cold storage drawers amongst the kitchen island behind our In-Frame Shaker furniture with a cockbead edge.

The Sub-Zero wine cooler is built with two individually controlled zones which offer customisable temperature storage for reds and whites. Six full-extension wine racks hold up to 42 bottles and glide smoothly, providing easy access without agitating the wine. It also comes with a UV-resistant glass door that is designed to prevent light exposure. The dual evaporators maintain constant, moderate humidity so corks and labels stay intact.
