Project Description
Planet Furniture adds to the modern Preston project with a well-designed home office.
The core of the design is our bespoke Lay-On shaker style cupboards, creating a sleek and sophisticated home office. Our handcrafted furniture forms the foundation of the dual desks, offering a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
Designed with individual needs in mind, the study features separate workspaces for him and her, ensuring a personalised environment for each. Each area provides ample work space and storage that allows each user to stay organised and efficient in their work.
Farrow & Ball’s Pigeon colour was chosen to soak the beautiful handmade cabinetry – this soft and elegant blue-grey tone adds a calming and refined ambience to the room.
Complementing the cabinetry is the choice of hardware from Crofts and Assinder. These are the Henley knobs in brushed bronze, perfectly balancing the cool tones of the cabinetry and providing a touch of warmth and sophistication.
To offer a striking contrast the dark, textured surface of Egger Anthractite Metal Rock brings a modern edge to the design, while integrated lighting has been installed throughout the workspace. This thoughtful detail ensures optimal illumination for both daytime and evening work.
Behind each handsome door and drawer, efficient storage is seen to organise files and smaller items like stationary and personal essentials. The result = a clutter-free and well-organised home office.
A beautiful productive workspace has been created with a “his and hers” design in mind.
