Project Description
This carefully considered and comforting TV media unit has been designed to bring an inclusive feel into the heart of the home, creating the perfect setting for after-dinner relaxation or fast-paced mornings. Whether it’s settling down with a glass of wine to watch the latest blockbuster, enjoying a hearty family meal while catching up on one of Netflix’s top series or indulging in freshly cooked pancakes, this space sets the tone for unwinding in style.
The unit itself takes the form of a beautiful sideboard design, crafted with nine expertly made dovetail drawers – six uniform in size with three smaller additions for balance and functionality. Sitting neatly beneath a skylight, the TV is suspended, drawing the eye and creating a light-filled focal point.
Crafted in our PF Lay-On Shaker style, the cabinetry is hand-painted in Little Greene’s Slaked Lime Deep, a warm and timeless shade that enhances the welcoming feel of the space and matches the kitchen. The drawers are finished with Hendel & Hendel Greenwich burnished brass handles, adding a subtle touch of elegance. A luxurious CQ Calacatta Gold quartz surface tops the unit, offering a crisp, refined contrast to the soft cabinetry tones.
Completing the look, plants and sculptural footed bowls are styled across the quartz, bringing texture, warmth, and a sense of home. This media unit doesn’t just house entertainment essentials but elevates the entire living space with a thoughtful, handcrafted design.
When your space is bespoke, you don’t want just a standard table. Attached to the island, the sumptuous curved banquette seating creates a striking focal point, offering both comfort and style. Designed as a natural gathering spot, it provides the perfect setting for relaxed family meals or casual entertaining with friends. Beyond dining, the positioning of the banquette also allows for a cosy seat to enjoy views of the bespoke media unit in the corner of this beautiful space. It’s where everyday practicality blends with a touch of elegance.
Adding to the exquisite design, the inclusion of Sub-Zero refrigerator drawers brings quick access to chilled drinks, enhancing the island’s role as the true heart of the space. Inspired by the layout in our showroom, this thoughtful addition makes entertaining effortless, suiting the family-focused lifestyle of our clients in Offley, Hertfordshire.
