Two friends Bob Perrin and Greg Rowe are the men behind the world-known company. They both shared a passion for making things and were fascinated by traditional manufacturing, they loved tinkering with mechanical objects and making them work better. They began their partnership and worked on their own ideas and innovations creating the world’s first 3-in-1 tap – a tap that dispensed hot, cold and filtered water – using a unique patented waterway.
How it works
The filtration tap by Perrin & Rowe is completely unique as it is complete with a four-stage filtration technology inside each of the products.
- Diatomaceous Ceramic – Suspended matter and bacteria are retained on the ceramic surface without the use of chemicals.
- Anti-Bacterial Silver – The ceramic permanently incorporates Katadyn silver which works against bacteria growth in the filter.
- Carbon Block Core – Absorbs chlorine, harmful chemicals and organic contaminants that contribute to bad taste and colour.
- Zeolite – Has the capability within to remove heavy metals such as lead and mercury.
The filtered water is delivered through its own dedicated waterway, meaning no cross-contamination can occur with the standard mains hot and cold water. All the filtration taps are made with the highest-standard Swiss ceramic filters.

In a modern kitchen design, the Mimas filtration tap is a perfect choice, met with sleek under-mounted and integrated sinks. Built with a simple dual lever design with a curvaceous C spout. This retractable hand spray can be used for several things, washing fruit, vegetables and other cooking ingredients used in cooking as well as filling pots and rinsing the sink after use.
