Fiery Red Lay-On Shaker Entry/Hallway Unit

As the first space guests and family members encounter, this hallway unit embodies the home’s creative spirit and bespoke craftsmanship.

The hallway unit is smartly composed and sets the tone for the entire home with bespoke Lay-On Shaker hallway units hand-painted in Farrow & Ball’s Bamboozle, a vibrant and spirited red hue. The colour is full of optimism and creative flair, designed to lift the mood from the very moment the front door opens.

Every detail has been considered to ensure the space feels both inviting and functional. Corston’s Milliner knobs add a refined, heritage touch to the cabinetry, while Mews hooks offer an elegant yet sturdy solutions for hanging coats, scarves, bags, and other daily essentials. The layout encourages a sense of calm and order in this often-busy entryway, a clear and beautifully arranged space.

Anchoring the bold cabinetry and softening the palette is the solid oak bench top and overhead shelf, both finished in a deep chocolate stain. The bench serves as a practical perch for putting on shoes or resting bags, while the shelf can be decorated with seasonal pieces or plants.

This bespoke space proves that even the most functional areas can be filled with character.
